I Love MY 4BT

www.jpmagazine.com - forums - Fri, 05/28/2010 - 18:05
The 4BT is not a bad decision put in a jeep. More power, better gas mileage. The Cummins shake lets me know the motor is still there when I crank it up EVERY morning to go to work. It is a very reliable motor, easy to work on (if I had to). The cost of the swap compared to gas savings will pay o

www.jpmagazine.com - forums - Fri, 05/28/2010 - 07:05
OK, simple question here....is there a special tool required to install the bushings on the end of leaf spring or do they just slide right in? I haven't gotten the new parts yet, but just asking out of curiosity ahead of time.

I have a 1987 YJ that I just had a brand new AX-15 transmission put in . I purchased it from "Advance Adapters" in CA. For the transmission fluid they gave me a Chrysler part # which turned out to be nothing but regular 10W40 Penzoil motor oil and suggested ATF+4 for the transfer case. I've read a

www.jpmagazine.com - forums - Mon, 05/24/2010 - 19:05
is there a more reliable stock tranny made for a jeep CJ? I'm looking at starting a project in the near future, was leaning towards an '86 CJ-7, because I thought that had the best stock options in the drive train like Dana 44 on both ends and a dana 300 transfer case. For some reason I thought tha

My blower switch does not direct the air to the floor or dash anymore, only goes to the windshield, is this a switch problem or is there some type of deflector issue that sends the air down to the floor?
